Customers consistently praise Herman's dedication to making every trip memorable, often extending charters beyond the scheduled time to ensure satisfaction. He's particularly excellent with children, providing patience and encouragement that creates lasting memories for young anglers. Trip - Chesapeake Bay Extended Shared Striped Bass Fishing Trip on September 14, 2025

Very knowledgeable captain and first mate. We caught lots of fish. Captain even picked us up from our room when we couldn’t find a ride.

Trip - on September 28, 2024

I booked a morning charter with Captain Herman and his first mate Brendan, and it was an amazing day on the water. We got off to a fantastic start with three rockfish bites in the first 15 minutes. When the bite slowed down after about an hour, the crew made some tackle adjustments, and we spent the rest of the trip hauling in bluefish nonstop. I’ve been on plenty of charters in various locations, and it’s frustrating when the crew seems disengaged or unwilling to adapt to improve the experience. That’s not the case with these guys—Captain Herman and Brendan were enthusiastic, attentive, and dedicated to making the trip a success. I’d recommend Screaming Eagle Charters to anyone looking for a top-notch fishing adventure.
