I booked this trip for my son’s 13th birthday, and it couldn’t have been better. The captain and first mate were friendly, helpful, and determined to make sure we caught fish. My son landed his first rockfish and even got a T-shirt from the captain to remember the day. It was an awesome experience and a birthday he’ll never forget!

We spent two great days on the water with Captain H. and Brendan—one half day and one full day—and both were fantastic. We hit our limit on big Striped Bass each day and came close to limiting out on Blues during the full-day trip. The boat is a seasoned vessel—comfortable, steady, and well-equipped. The gear was top-notch, and the crew couldn’t have been better: knowledgeable, attentive, and a lot of fun to fish with. Most importantly, they know exactly where the fish are and how to put them in the boat. We won’t be booking with anyone else in the area. Tip: plan for about 40 minutes to get to Neavitt from St. Michael’s.

Had an amazing trip with my 9-year-old son aboard Screaming Eagle Charters! Captain Herman and First Mate Brendan were outstanding—professional, patient, and great with kids. The Bluefish were biting hard, keeping us busy and reeling all morning, and we still managed to bring home seven nice ones. My son had an absolute blast, and we left with smiles, stories, and memories to last a lifetime. Highly recommend Screaming Eagle Charters for a fun and family-friendly day on the water!

I’ve been on quite a few fishing charters before, including several booked through FishingBooker, but this one tops them all. We caught so many fish that we spent a good part of the trip catching and releasing after limiting out early. Some were even oversized and had to be let go! Captain Herman and Brendan went above and beyond to make sure we had an amazing time. They’re professional, fun, and truly care about giving you a great experience. I highly recommend Screaming Eagle Charters if you’re looking for an unforgettable day on the water—I’ll definitely be coming back soon with my boys.

Captain Haddaway and his first mate were punctual, organized, and easygoing—a great crew all around. They knew the local fishing spots well and worked hard to put us on the fish. Even though the bite was slower during our time of day (early mornings are definitely better), we still caught some nice ones—some keepers, some released. The weather was perfect, the ride was beautiful, and we made some wonderful memories on the Chesapeake Bay. Thanks for an awesome day on the water!

I booked a morning charter with Captain Herman and his first mate Brendan, and it was an amazing day on the water. We got off to a fantastic start with three rockfish bites in the first 15 minutes. When the bite slowed down after about an hour, the crew made some tackle adjustments, and we spent the rest of the trip hauling in bluefish nonstop. I’ve been on plenty of charters in various locations, and it’s frustrating when the crew seems disengaged or unwilling to adapt to improve the experience. That’s not the case with these guys—Captain Herman and Brendan were enthusiastic, attentive, and dedicated to making the trip a success. I’d recommend Screaming Eagle Charters to anyone looking for a top-notch fishing adventure.
