Dawn delivers epic stripers and blues action on Broad Creek!
Had a solid crew of two join us this fall morning for an early start on Broad Creek. We launched around dawn with partly cloudy skies that brought some rain throughout the day, but the water conditions on Broad Creek stayed fishable. This was our Half Day Trip (AM) with Screaming Eagle Charters.
We focused on bottom fishing, casting, and trolling using light tackle with live bait. The crew landed a total of 8 Striped Bass (Rockfish) and 16 Bluefish during our time out there. Broad Creek delivers consistent action because it holds good structure and baitfish that attract both species. The light tackle setup made every fish feel like a real battle, and the live bait proved deadly effective. We wrapped up the morning with 24 fish in the box and everyone wearing big grins.
